What It's About: Not Letting Bullies Get You Down Mean is probably one of Taylors angrier songs; its fierce, its tongue and cheek and its basically the musical equivalent to a middle finger. With lyrics like someday Ill be living in a big old city, and all youre ever going to be is mean, Taylor is living proof that you can beat your successors simply by being successful. However, what really makes Mean great is its perfect use of dramatic irony, as Taylor quips that her aggressor was drunk and grumbling on about how cant sing when in actuality, shes selling out stadiums and singing to hoards of devoted fans who obviously strongly disagree!
Lucie mostly enjoys long walks on the beach and short walks to the fridge, while dabbling in a little bit of writing here and there.
