10 AWFUL Albums By Legendary Bands

1. The Beatles - Yellow Submarine (1969)

Yellow Submarine was the 10th album released by The Beatles and the first album that made them realise they shouldn't say yes to slapping their name on any movie idea that comes their way.

The album was released as the soundtrack to the Yellow Submarine film and was as dull as the film. Although the movie was in fact about an animated journey with The Beatles as the main characters, it doesn't feature any of their voices, in what appeared to be a quick cash grab. The songs written for the album certainly suggest so with songs like Bullfrog which, although has a classic upbeat style, has vocals that will make you question whether or not your hearing has gone.

Worst song: Bullfrog

It might be a good song but YOU CAN'T HEAR THE WORDS!

Worst lyrics (Only A Northern Song): If you're listening to this song/You may think the chords are going wrong/But they're not/We just wrote it like that.

Those short lines perfectly encapsulate the whole album.

Although the song was written to fit the story in the film, surely the greatest songwriters of all time could have come up with something a bit smarter than admitting they just phoned it in.
