10 AWFUL Albums By Legendary Bands

2. Oasis - Be Here Now (1997)

Now, this album has some great choruses and one of the great Oasis songs in Stand By Me but, my sweet magic pie, this album is just too long.

The great thing about the previous two Oasis albums was that they smacked you in the face with anthem after anthem leaving your head spinning and your soul wanting more. Contrary to Definitely Maybe and What's The Story, Be Here Now takes it's sweet, sweet time to an annoying degree. The only song that isn't over four minutes long is All Around The World (reprise) but the original mix of the song is 9 minutes long!

Given the height of Oasis' fame in the 90s, a longer album seemed like a gift from God but the repetitive choruses and experimental sound engineering were less a gift and more an old testament plague.

Noel Gallagher admits he phoned the album in and will only play Acquiesce and The Masterplan live, which were B-sides of the album.

Worst Song: All Around The World. Not a bad song but listening to it for 9 minutes takes effort.

Worst Lyrics (Magic Pie): I'll have my say/My star will shine/'Cause you see me/ I got my magic pie
