10 Bands That Never Made A Bad Album

1. Radiohead

If Radiohead had decided to capitalize on the success that they had right out of the gate, there would be no way that we would talk about them these days. As much as Creep may have laid the groundwork for a career in post grunge, none of the band members were keen on riding the coattails of what the Seattle scene had already done. The next few years had to be something different, and Radiohead practically tried everything they possibly could as a band from there.

Right as the band were starting to go down the road of Britpop on the Bends, OK Computer almost felt like a step away from traditional rock and roll, taking the synthetic sounds of electronic music and adding rock and roll bombast into the mix. The stage was set for them to become the U2 of their generation, before switching on a dime to records like Kid A, where they coated their sound in electronica and came away with the rest of their fanbase coming along for the ride.

As they've gone on, Radiohead have seen every single album as a different creative endeavor, like reminding the world what made them so potent in the first place on their "free" album In Rainbows and eventually finding their way into the world of almost baroque rock on their latest album A Moon Shaped Pool. While it's still up in the air as to what the band have prepared next, nothing is really off the table so long as it comes out the way that Radiohead would do it.
