10 Best AC/DC Songs Ever

1. Back In Black - Back In Black

After the death of Bon Scott, it seemed that AC/DC would be no more. But even after the darkest of days, some persuasion from Scott's parents convinced the band to continue, and it was this decision that led to the hiring of Brian Johnson, former singer of the band Geordie.

Several months after Johnson joined, the finished Back In Black album was released, and everyone who ever doubted that AC/DC couldn't continue was proven wrong instantly. A song that was written to honour the life of Bon Scott, Back In Black is sung excellently by the newcomer Johnson, showing beyond doubt that he was the perfect choice to front the new lineup.

The main guitar riff of the song is one of the most iconic and instantly memorable openers in all of rock history, demonstrating how the Young brothers were still in their prime and eager to take their band in a new direction.

One of the main reasons that the band continued after the death of their lead singer was that they knew it would be what Scott would have wanted them to do. If he was able to see the legacy he left behind, he would certainly be proud.
