10 Best Dance Albums Of 2013

1. Disclosure €“ Settle

Settle

It had to be Disclosure as the number 1. As much as I do adore the Camo & Krooked album, Settle is a perfect blend of House and Garage which appeals to both the mass public audience and core fans of the genre alike. 'Latch' was released in late 2012 and started the hype about Disclosure only to be increased by their number 2 hit 'White Noise' in February this year. The album came out on the 31st May and was praised by the critics and most importantly the public. A hit both in the charts and in the clubs, Disclosure went from strength to strength and have ended the year on a high. If there is one album you should sample this year, it should definitely be Settle. My personal favourite song is their collaboration with London Grammar's vocalist on 'Help Me Lose My Mind', which in my opinion is a perfect song. I did a full album review of Settle earlier in the year which can be found here. So there you have it - the greatest dance albums of the year. Do you agree? Share your own picks below, and while you're at it, keep an eye out for Foxes, who should rule 2014.
