6. Bills Bills Bills
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiXlF18-wVI Some of you may have heard this more recently when Darren Criss from Glee covered it as part of his stint as a Warbler on the show. But the first singer to whinge about not having a full tank of petrol was Beyonce herself! This was back in the day when there were 4 vocalists in Destiny Child and Michelle Williams wasn't one of them - we're talking 1999 people. But the clever and quick succession of lyrics make this song an RnB winner. Despite some potential male bashing embedded in the lyrics, Beyonce has insisted it was actually about empowering women. Pay your bills gents. 5. Lose My Breath
Now we're getting into some of the more well known tracks, that would definitely make the playlist for a noughties night in the club. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2T11hyQLEM Its no wonder these ladies were losing they're breath, because the way they perform is so energetic and fierce. This was a 2004 track so Kelly had already had teeth done and there was a noticeable increase in the styling budget, because even for today they don't look too bad. There was a stronger pop element to the track that was complimented by the military drum accompaniment that gave it a more serious and mature undertone. These ladies meant business back then and it is no different today.
