10 Best Diss Tracks In Hip Hop

3. Real Muthaphuckkin G's - Eazy-E (1993)

When Dr. Dre attempted to leave N.W.A. he was still under contract with Ruthless Records. Suge Knight had a vested interest in recruiting Dre to form their own record company. Supposedly, he had a number of violent altercations with Eazy in an attempt to persuade him to release Dre early. Eazy eventually relented, but there was a condition: Dre was forced to sign over a portion of his royalties for the next few years.

This meant Eazy would make almost $1.5 million from The Chronic; something he boasted about in his response to Dre's diss track, Dre Day. Rather than discrediting the claims that Eazy did over the members of N.W.A., he flaunted it. "But Dre Day only meant Eazy's payday" was one of many lines that made references to the situation.

But that wasn't the only salt Eazy rubbed in the wounds. He made multiple references to Dre's past in a dance group. He even included images of Dre wearing makeup in his music video, going on to call him 'studio gangsta' while simultaniously calling out both Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight.
