1. Felix Martin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQYhLPygG90 Now this guy, is something special. If you thought anyone on this list was good, you should pay close attention to Mr Martin, here. Felix is a Venezuelan prodigy who earned a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee School Of Music to study music and bring his unique style of playing to the rest of the world. Largely self taught and in his quest to try new things out, he wasn't content just adding an extra string to his guitar, instead what he ended up doing was inventing a 14 string guitar, which is effectively two seven strings side by side in the same body. The point of this Franken-guitar was so Felix could make use of his considerable two handed tapping skills, as he has developed his own unique style that means he can play the rhythm and lead parts of his songs at the same time on the same guitar. He can harmonise with his own lead lines and when he wants to can play his guitar like any other more standard player would. He is such a strange and unique player that you should take any opportunity you can to see him perform live. His highest profile show of 2014 is the UK Tech Metal Fest in July and you definitely need to see him to believe what he can do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYrcqtLShsw
