10 Best Hidden Tracks On Rock Music Albums

9. Black Market Blood - Black Market Music (Placebo)

The turn of the millennium was a great time to be in alternative rock act Placebo. They'd hit it big right from the very start, as their self-titled debut had entered the charts at number five. After sophomore album Without You I'm Nothing also did well, the band released their third record, Black Market Music, in 2000.

Ironically, this album named after an illegal trading network legitimately sold very well. It reached number six in the charts and gave the band two top 20 singles in Taste in Men and Slave to the Wage. One song that didn't chart was Black Market Blood, but that's because its existence was kept a secret.

The album "ends" with a song called Peeping Tom, which is supposedly 14 minutes and ten seconds long. Truthfully, it's less than half that length, as Black Market Blood pops up about five minutes after Peeping Tom comes to an end.

Black Market Blood is technically a double hidden track, as it also snuck onto the Japanese edition of this album after a cover version of Depeche Mode's I Feel You.
