10 Best Number One Rock Albums Of The 2010s

8. Paramore - Paramore

Four years after the release of Brand New Eyes to round out the 2010s, loveable pop punk rascals Paramore were back with a new attitude, a fresh coat of paint, and enough upbeat pop-rock bangers to last a lifetime.

With their self-titled album (honestly, who has a self-titled album that isn't their debut?), Hayley Williams and co. completed their mission statement of reintroducing themselves to the world and just so happened to make some excellent music in the process.

Still Into You and Ain't It Fun might be very different to the likes of Misery Business and Pressure, but they were examples of joyful, well-written radio rock that had just as much value as any of the band's older favourites.

The music-buying public seemed to agree, as they sent Paramore to the top of the charts for a single week in April 2013, unseating his lordship Justin Timberlake in the process.

At time of writing, this is the group's only US number one album, which goes to show that the whole self-titled thing isn't a problem to anyone except people who write top ten lists on the Internet.
