10 Best Paramore Songs - Ranked
8. Brighter - All We Know Is Falling (2005)
‘Brighter’ is another underrated gem from Paramore. Released back in 2005, it's the standout track on the band's debut album.
The song was inspired by the death of one of Williams’ friends, and like ‘Turn It Off’, the vocal delivery injects plenty of pain and authenticity to the song.
The guitar licks – both clean and distorted – are melodic throughout, and manage to stand out in the mix whilst simultaneously complimenting the vocals.
Though the entire song has a constant resonance, the finale really hits home due to the combined vocals of Williams and Josh Farro against the melodic guitar riff.
All We Know Is Falling certainly isn’t Paramore’s best album, but songs like ‘Brighter’ exemplify just how talented the band were during this early period.
