9. Hawthorne Heights Skeletons
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guOLwftiqtc Skeletons, released in 2010, was Hawthorne Heights first album to contain unclean vocals since the sudden death of rhythm guitarist Casey Calvert in 2007. His vocals were replaced by Micah Corli and it certainly added the extra dimension to the album that allowed it to stand out from their previous record Fragile Future, which always seemed to be missing something. The band, and particularly lead vocalist JT Woodruff, produced some of their best and most passionate material to date, not least End of the Underground whose epic chorus is a particular highlight of the record. Other songs such as Bring You Back, Drive and Hollywood and Vine illustrate the albums brilliant consistency - this album certainly deserves a lot more recognition than it perhaps received.
