10 Best Rock Music Album Covers Of The 2010s

7. Eat The Elephant - A Perfect Circle

If you think you've heard the lead singer of A Perfect Circle somewhere before, chance are you probably have. He's Maynard James Keenan, best known as the frontman of Tool.

The band was originally formed when a guitar technician named Billy Howerdel was living at Keenan's home. A couple of jam sessions later and a new musical project was born.

Top tip: If you want a rock star to be in your band, just move in with them! It's really that simple!

A Perfect Circle put out three albums in the 2000s before taking a break in 2005. After eventually coming back together, the group released their first album in 14 years with 2018's Eat the Elephant.

The artwork features a man whose head is comprised of half Howerdel, half Keenan. This ghoulish figure has his hands outstretched, holding a bizarre octopus-looking creature.

Does it mean anything? Probably not. Is it cool as hell? Absolutely.

The use of black and white in this image makes it particularly evocative, almost like a Rorschach test.

Although, if you do see this image during an actual psychological evaluation, then you may have more to sort out than you first thought.
