10 Best Rock Music Album Covers Of The 2010s
8. Life’s Not Out To Get You - Neck Deep
When you think of pop punk, you think of young Americans skateboarding topless under the California sun. What you don't think of is North Wales.
Hailing from Wrexham before it was taken over by Hollywood, Neck Deep have been providing a Welsh view on a very American genre since 2012.
Life's Not Out to Get You from 2015 was their second studio effort, produced by A Day to Remember frontman Jeremy McKinnon. This was the album that really established a foothold for the gang, both at home and in the land where pop punk was born.
Presumably, a lot of those sales were down to the utterly mad artwork that adorned the front of this album. Created by artist Ricardo Cavolo, this sprawling, comic book-style drawing is busy, colourful, and a bit frightening if you stare at it for too long.
Lead singer Ben Barlow said he wanted something unique for the cover of this record and that's precisely what he got. This image was so well done, that the band were able to create an actual comic book out of it.
How many album covers can you say that about?
