10 Best Rock Music Albums Under Half An Hour Long

5. Los Angeles - X

A band named X, which is terrible for SEO, released a record in 1980 called Los Angeles, which is also terrible for SEO.

If you do manage to track this elusive thing down, you'll hear the debut album from a punk band that was produced by former Doors keyboard player Ray Manzarek. That might explain how a sped-up cover of The Doors' Soul Kitchen ended up on here.

The album has stood the test of time, with songs from it cropping up in TV shows and movies to this very day. It was also included in Rolling Stone's 500 Best Albums of All Time list in 2003, and they're people who know what they're talking about.

Despite having two four minute+ songs on it, Los Angeles runs at a tasty 28:05. To be fair, it's only got nine songs on it, so they could afford to be a bit more lax with their timings.

A fantastic opening salvo from a band that should have been way bigger than they actually were, Los Angeles' quality will help you get over how poorly named it is.
