10 Best Rock Music Videos Of 2023 (So Far)

2. Hold Me Like A Grudge - Fall Out Boy

Those of you who remember the music video to Fall Out Boy's This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race will know that it ends with Pete Wentz diving off a high structure into a crowd full of people.

Finally, after 16 years of waiting, we now know what happened next.

The video for the song Hold Me Like a Grudge picks up exactly where Arms Race left off. Sadly for Pete, that's him landing hard on the floor and hurting his leg.

Wentz then wakes up in hospital where he's told he'll be getting a bionic replacement. Then, many years later, it's up to the bassist to round up the rest of the band to ensure that they aren't wiped from history Marty McFly style!

Look, it's a Fall Out Boy video, don't question the logic.

Back in their heyday, Fall Out Boy could always be relied upon to deliver a fantastic video. Whilst they've put out some good ones since they came back, this one feels the closest to that original style that made them such big stars in the first place.

Also, it features Patrick Stump as a wrestler, and who doesn't want to see that?
