Dio plays this objectively-ridiculous sequence so straight, never once breaking out from his menacing glare. The over-the-top nature of the video fits perfectly with the lyrics to the song, which are all about riding tigers and the waves of the midnight sea.
Few people in rock history have ever understood the assignment quite as well as the team that put this campy masterpiece together.
