10 Best Rock Music Videos Of The 2000s

4. Rollin’ - Limp Bizkit

Does anyone know why this song has the subtitle "Air Raid Vehicle?"

No? Didn't think so.

The action in Limp Bizkit's 2000 track Rollin' kicks off when actors Ben Stiller and Stephen Dorff mistake ol' red cap Fred Durst for their valet. They toss him the keys to their Bentley, which Freddie D then takes for a joyride.

What is he like?

Things then split off into three distinct arcs; one where Durst and his pals ride around in the car; one where he and a bunch of similarly-dressed dancers bust some moves in a brightly-lit room; and one where the full band play the song atop the South Tower of the World Trade Center.

In a chilling coincidence, this won the VMA for Best Rock Video just six days before the 9/11 attacks destroyed the building that played such a large part in its success.

Historical connections aside, this is still a great video with lots of iconic moments and high energy performances from all involved.

It also serves as a reminder to never give your car keys to a guy wearing a red baseball cap backwards.

You'll live to regret it.
