10 Best Rock Music Videos Of The 2000s

3. Tribute - Tenacious D

When you're making a music video with a proper story to it, it helps to have one of the most famous actors in the world be a part of your band.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass treated us all to the video for Tribute in 2002. The boys arrive at a shopping mall to record their single in a novelty karaoke booth.

After a bit of "studio engineering", Black and Gass lay down their tale of running into a demon whilst walking down the road. The demon is played by Dave Grohl, who's making a habit of turning up on this list in other people's videos.

Weirdly enough, this is also our second video in a row featuring Ben Stiller, who makes a walk-on cameo.

Fictional Tenacious D then play "the best song in the world" to satisfy the hell spawn, whilst the duo in the mall cause all sorts of havoc by rocking out too hard.

As a song, Tribute is hilarious, so it makes sense that it would receive such a funny music video. Everyone involved knocks it out of the park, especially that old lady right at the end.

She's absolutely terrifying.
