Thanks to a seemingly never-ending pandemic known as obesity, putting in some time in the gym is more important than ever before. Heck, in 2021, with another pandemic — COVID-19 — it's probably an even bigger concern, with so many stuck at home.

So, what do you do? You hit the gym, whether it's an actual gym, or your home setup in the basement, or garage. Heck, even just going for a run is something; whatever it takes to lose that COVID 20 (pounds, that is).

Of course, no one wants to work out in silence. It's hard enough for some of us to find the motivation at all. Which means the right playlist is absolutely essential to a good workout. But just what makes a playlist right?

We're going to stick to good ol' rock n' roll for this one, and give you a list of songs to get the blood pumping and the juices flowing. No, we can't help with your form (because ours is equally terrible) or your garish '80s-inspired workout ensemble.

What we can do is at least pitch in with some suggestions for quality tracks to hit the gym to. Even if it's just your home gym.

10. Rob Zombie - Dragula

It's not the lyrics, exactly, that make this a great workout track. Although quite frankly if you choose to ignore a few lines, well, "burn through the witches" might as well be "burn through the calories."

Not feeling the burn? Okay, maybe not. But you don't need a good workout track to actually be about working out. Rather, it's about the feel, the rhythm, the groove, the beat — and Rob Zombie's Dragula, off his inaugural solo effort, has all of that in spades.

It certainly caught on with mainstream rock fans, and the lead single off Hellbilly Deluxe remains Zombie's best-selling tune to date. With sales upwards of 700,000 copies of the track, plus spins on Spotify, Youtube, so on and so forth.

Truth be told, a lot of Zombie tunes (of both the Rob and White Zombie variety) could hold this spot on our workout track list. It's just that, well, Dragula is the most memorable, most over-the-top, and a whole lot of fun to bounce around to. Millions of fans in most pits over the years can't be wrong. And for those wondering just where the heck Dragula even came from: it was the name of Grandpa Munster's drag racer on The Munsters, although it was stylized DRAG-U-LA on the show.
