10 Best Sequels To Incredible Albums

10. Logic - No Pressure

‘No Pressure’ is Logic’s 2020 return to his debut album released back in 2014, ‘Under Pressure’. Perfectly fitting given it’s his retirement record to,, with him quitting the rap game at the exceptionally young age of 30 years old to concentrate more on raising his new born son.

It’s a passionately wise record that conveys Logic has found peace with the last decade of his career over six albums and six mixtapes. The same computer program, Thalia, welcomes you to the album on the Intro, as Logic meditates in verses on going from underground rapper (he funded his own tours in the beginning) to becoming the cult-like rap figure he evolved into.

Everything from the artwork to the themes on the LP are similar and comparable to Under Pressure. Logic perfectly bows out on final outro track ‘Obediently Yours’, that samples Orson Welles calling for action on putting an end to race hate in the 1940s. It’s as honest an album the Maryland native could put out in the world right now.

As Logic rapped on the ‘No Pressure Freestyle’ that teased the album: “Industry rule number 4081, your new sh*t ain't good as your old sh*t. 'Til your new sh*t is your old sh*t, son.” Know that Logic never strays from rule 4081 on No Pressure.
