10 Biggest WTF Moments In 2000s Rock

9. Rammstein’s Segway Smash

German industrial metal giants Rammstein aren't exactly known for playing it safe whilst on stage.

The group usually bring enough pyrotechnics to their concerts to invade a small country, and their lead singer Till Lindemann is actually trained in the practice. Well, you'd like to think somebody in that outfit knew what they were doing.

It's not just bangs and crashes that the band are known for, as their stage shows often incorporate hugely complicated elements to add to the spectacle. Unfortunately, in 2005, all that hard work was undone by an accident involving a personal mobility device.

Keyboard player Christian "Flake" Lorenz used to incorporate a Segway into his performances, riding around on stage as the music went on around. Unfortunately, during one rendition of the song Amerika in Sweden, he collided with Lindemann while piloting the vehicle.

Whilst this seems pretty funny on the surface, the frontman got injured so badly that the band had to cancel their upcoming tour of Asia.

Who'd have thought that, in the face of everything, it would be Paul Blart's transport of choice that would finally do Rammstein in.
