10 Biggest WTF Moments In 2010s Rock

7. Billie Joe’s Major Meltdown

The iHeartRadio Music Festival is an annual event held in Sin City itself, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Each year, some of the biggest and brightest names from across music come together to celebrate the art form we all love. Sometimes though, they get really angry and smash up bits of the stage.

This is what went down during Green Day's set at the 2012 event.

The band were unhappy for a number of reasons, including a perceived lack of involvement from the Vegas crowd. When they were told that their set was being cut to make more time for Usher's performance later in the night, things reached boiling point.

Singer Billie Joe Armstrong went absolutely insane, cussing out anyone and everyone involved in the festival. He also yelled "I'm not Justin Beiber", which is both hilarious and accurate.

Armstrong finished up his tirade by smashing up his guitar before walking away. The band later apologised on his behalf and the star then checked himself into rehab a few days later.

It's okay, Billie Joe. If we found out that we weren't going to get to hear all of Basket Case, we'd be upset too.
