8. Concerts In Paris Will Regain Immense Popularity
In the weeks that followed the tragic November 2015 Paris attacks, ticket sales fell by a staggering eighty percent, and have struggled to regain momentum. The main reason for this is that the attacks despite the fact that there multiple across Paris are strongly associated with the Bataclan theatre massacre, which took place during a performance by the Eagles Of Death Metal and resulted in the death of eighty-nine people. Nevertheless, things are looking up, and will continue to improve in a significant way. Starting with U2's emotional performance in December (which included an appearance by Eagles Of Death Metal), sales have been creeping up again. Though initially people were filled with fear and trepidation, each performance in Paris has become an act of defiance, a significant statement on the power and importance of music in the face of violent adversary. As time passes, it's entirely likely that live music in Paris will become more popular than ever, as more and more artists and concert-goers appreciate the significance of attending at all.
