7. The Birdie Song - The Tweets (1981)

I'm sure every party during the 1980s played this song and party goers pretended to not feel stupid when they were doing the silly dance that comes along with the song. Vogeltanz to our Teutonic friends, the song may have originated in Germany as a drinking song during Oktoberfest in the late 1970s and it certainly does have a Germanic feel to it. It has been covered in many different countries and there are 150 different versions of it out there in the world. I'm sure you will rest easy in your bed tonight knowing that.
