10 Classic Rock Bands That Never Made A Bad Album
9. AC/DC
If you're looking to go anywhere in the industry, you have to know how to change with the times. As much as your schtick might fair well at the moment, it only takes one new gimmick for you to look like yesterday's news in just a couple of months. There's nothing wrong in having one specific type of style though, and AC/DC are the kings of that mentality.
Compared to the other one trick ponies that work their trick into the ground, AC/DC have watered their sound down to a near perfection every since their debut. Though the magic was all there on High Voltage, the sultry vocal delivery of Bon Scott alongside the guitar crunch of Angus Young is most likely never going to go out of style, being the main draw that hooks every adolescent into wanting to play the guitar.
Even when Bon passed away, AC/DC deserve a ton of credit for not skipping a beat and moving on to even greater heights with Brian Johnson on Back in Black, not losing an ounce of kickass in the process. Being the same bunch of blues rock brats that we got to know down under, AC/DC have basically carved out their niche to the point where they can practically do no wrong. Considering how well their music works with Iron Man these days, it looks like the public hasn't gotten over these Aussies' charm either.
