10 Classic Rock Songs About Femmes Fatales

4. Whole Lotta Rosie (AC/DC, 1977)

Unlike your archetypical femme fatale, Rosie is more on the hefty side, to put things euphemistically. She is a big gal, and the lyrics make this clear, measurements and weight included (19 stone, that is, 266 lbs.). Rosie was a real woman from Tasmania who liked to spend time with the band members when they were getting started in Australia and it was AC/DC€™s original front man Bon Scott who reportedly had the most affection for her. This song is AC/DC is its finest, with its pounding guitar riffs and incendiary Angus Young solos. In the band€™s live performances, fans ritualistically proclaim Angus€™ name in between the riffs, and a giant inflatable Rosie hovers imposingly over the audience. There is also a largely forgotten Guns n€™ Roses rendition of this song. €œShe ain't exactly pretty/Ain't exactly small/Fourt'two, thirt'nine ,fiftysix, You could say she's got it all!!!!€
