10 Creepiest Love Songs Ever Written

8. Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney - "The Girl Is Mine"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHp0s2wKajw There's always something inherently creepy about two dudes proclaiming to all the world that they both believe the same girl to be "theirs," and not just because it implies a subtle ownership or that the girl in question can't make up her own mind on the matter. But this classic Jackson and McCartney duet ups the ante by implying that the two of them are actually friends who are going after the same woman. It's clear these two brilliant musicians think they're being cute (that's why these use the word "doggone" so goddamn much), but what's really so cute about two insanely wealthy guys taking turns metaphorically peeing on an unwitting lady's leg to mark their territory? But don't worry, its just a little good-natured contest between two close friends who are competing for the right to be this mystery woman's "forever lover." Ha ha. What a hoot! Also, surely this won't end up forming a huge rift between your friendship once she chooses one of you clowns to spend the rest of her live with! Speaking of which, why don't we ever get to hear from "the girl?" Is she locked up in a neutral basement somewhere until these two can figure out who gets the prize?
