10 Creepiest Paranormal Events In Rock Music

4. OK Computer's Mental Torture

Of all the alternative rock bands of the '90s, Radiohead have had one of the most eclectic backgrounds in history. After being pegged as a one hit wonder by most of the rock scene with their single Creep, these depressive English dudes threw caution to the wind with OK Computer, which became one of the most successful albums of the turn of the century. There was a lot of effort put into this record, and the band members suffered for it.

Recording in what was the home of actress Jane Seymour, Thom Yorke would often get visits from different spirits as he roamed through the estate. Already dealing with depression to begin with, the ominous nature of the grounds ended up haunting Yorke throughout his time there. Everything came to a head when drummer Phil Selway found Thom at breakfast with patches of his hair shaved off, apparently up since the previous night.

After helping the singer get a hold of himself, the group ended up finishing the rest of the album with a precise attention to detail, resulting in some of their most classic cuts like Paranoid Android and Exit Music (For a Film). Radiohead had a bona fide classic on their hands, but if you listen close enough, you can hear that inner stress seeping through the notes.
