Music is almost always intended to be replayed. With its ability to evoke such powerful emotions in the listeners over the space of just a few minutes, connections become even stronger as songs are put on repeat and played to death. Anyone reading this will no doubt have at least one track from their life that they couldn't get enough of, but played so much they eventually got completely sick of it, ruining it for themselves.

However, some songs only need to be heard once to have an impact. Though there's so much value to be had in replaying tracks over and over to get every little bit out of them, a select few hit only need one spin to make an impact.

With its unique ability to acutely spur an emotional response in a listener in such a ferocious way, it's no surprise that just as many songs have aimed to disturb the listener and make them uncomfortable as they have aimed to make them happy or sad.

For the following songs, one listen might have been enough, while for others the disturbing content might not have been obvious until you were bopping along twenty spins in, but either way, you won't be forgetting them anytime soon.
