6. TRC
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax5GIzAHNsw Pretty much every genre of music has the odd band or two that like to shake the basic formula up to make an interesting and unique variation. Hardcore is not devoid of this change at all with London's TRC fusing the basic characteristics of hardcore with hip-hop, for some this combination may seem puzzling but the end product is beautifully composed and will appeal to both fans of heavy music and those who are into hip-hop. With several albums to choose from, TRC's approach to hardcore is dangerous and destructive; H.A.T.E.R.S packs a solid punch, Sad. Fat. Desperate will push your neck muscles to the limit and the addition of a female vocalist for the chorus of Between Bridges is a subtle yet effective. The band have gone from strength to strength over the course of their five year career, with performances at Download Festival and Ghostfest unleashing the band's true potential. It just goes to show that the combination of two rather contrasting musical styles can be a brilliant thing!
