7. Down To Nothing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-h9Ge_ctv4 Down To Nothing aren't the most complicated band in the world, their approach to hardcore is almost as simple as it can get and yet that is why Down To Nothing are absolutely essential to any hardcore fan's music library. Simple but powerful riffs, vocal work that is about as hardcore as it can get and generating enough adrenaline to keep you moshing all night long; Down To Nothing's hardcore style is incredibly enjoyable and entertaining. Dirty South has possibly one of the most appealing riffs in the genre, 3:24 is short, sweet and utterly ferocious and Pipeline unleashes hell from the very first second. With the band's members also playing in Terror, Trapped Under Ice, Bracewar and Heathens, Down To Nothing are essentially a hardcore supergroup which is certainly a very entertaining concept. Down To Nothing don't break the mould when it comes to hardcore, they represent and showcase the characteristics that have been established since the genre's inception and will make a fine addition to your hardcore fuelled binge.
