"Up here in space... I'm looking down on you." Judas Priest was alluding to George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four. One can only imagine throngs of Priest fans reading Orwell's masterpiece, then banding together, all leather and studs and bravado, to stop that sort of thing from ever happening in real life. Also, beer helps you concentrate. Priest upped the ante for speed and intensity in their day, and "Electric Eye" remains one of their best. In light of recent events, though, it now bears the unlikely honor of being their most depressing song. If you pay attention.
