For fans of: Singing your lungs out. Taken from their defining sophomore album Blackbird, Rise Today was give the lead single treatment due to the record company at the time still trying to push the same anthemic buttons as Creed - however as much as that comparison may put some people off, it doesn't take away from the majesty of the track. Usually coming at the very end of their set, it's commonly referred to by Tremonti as being their 'big send off' and the one that everyone gets behind at the end of the night, screaming every last cubic centimetre of air throughout the arena before things draw to a close. Featuring a simple-but-brilliant intro section, a gigantic chorus you'll learn after just one go-round and another one of Tremonti's solos that elevates the composition to somewhere else entirely, it's always been a fantastic endpoint to many performances the world over.
