10 Famous Actors With Music Careers That Spectacularly Failed
7. Kevin Bacon
Okay, be prepared for the most embarrassingly, serious band name ever created. Ever. In 1995, following huge success with Footloose and appearances in the horror franchise Friday the 13th among others, Kevin Bacon decided to publicly announce to the world - The Bacon Brothers, and to confirm what is going through your mind right now if you weren't already aware: yes, they are as terrible as they're named. Without being too harsh on the actor, The Bacon Brothers, made up of Kevin and older brother Michael, had been playing together since they were children and it wasn't until the mid-90s that the duo decided to make their dream a reality that would ultimately lead to featuring on children CDs Dog Train and Philadelphia Chickens. Made it! Eight years after their official formation though, came the pair's biggest achievement. Or should that be just Kevin's? The band's song Chop Wood (Carry Water) was included on the soundtrack for the 2004 film The Woodsman, which as you can guess was produced and starred in by the main man Kevin himself. With the younger Bacon brother concentrating on his role as Ryan Hardy in the US series The Following, maybe it's time Michael took the decision to go solo and make the music industry his own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8xXmeyVenI
