9. Mentioning Wrestling - Action Bronson

Action Bronson loves wrestling. Where other rappers love expensive cars, fancy necklaces, and saying the word "Uh!", Action Brons loves wrestling. Thus rather than filling his songs with references to whatever it is he's driving, wearing and uh-ing, he fills them with lines about his favourite wrestlers.

In his first two albums alone, Bronson managed to shoehorn in 23 separate wrestlers into his music. The Brooklyn Brawler, William Regal, The Mountie, Marty Janetty, The Nasty Boys, Greg Valentine, Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat, Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan, Bam Bam Bigelow, The Iron Shiek, Booker T, Paul Orndorff, The Big Bossman, Vader, British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart, 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Barry Horowitz, Owen Hart, and Ron Simmons, in the creatively titled track, 'Ron Simmons'.

In the time since, he's diversified his lyrics to include more of the aforementioned bling and rims, but still finds the time to nod to his favourite wrestlers. His most recent release, 2018's White Bronco, included the line "me by myself is like the Four Horsemen, you're just a poor sportsman" on the track Prince Charming. Action Bronson loves wrestling.
