10 Great Songs That Said "F-ck You" To Critics

Someone call the burns unit.

Speaking as a music critic, there's always a part of me that wonders if an artist is ever going to pay much attention to what I write about them. And, if what I write about them happens to be negative, will it affect them to the point that they feel compelled to respond? Will they call me out for being a d*ck? Does that indeed make me a d*ck?? It's a hyper-egotistical thought, to be sure, but not one that's completely unwarranted. After all, some truly incredible songs have been spawned from that exact situation, and those critics probably never assumed their words would have the outcome they did. The following musicians proved to the world that hey, just because they're world-famous, that doesn't mean they don't have feelings, too. And sometimes words really do hurt. And sometimes those words will get thrown right back in your goddamn face! With that in mind, if any of the musicians mentioned below are reading this, please know that I respect all of you. And, umm... please don't hurt me.
