It's fitting that this is the song that gave 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' its title, considering how essential a track it is. D Is For Dangerous is driven by Nick O'Malley's brilliant bass line working in perfect tandem with Matt Helders' pulsating drums.
Alex seems to be describing a particularly volatile person. Someone that you love but that you know in your heart is a headache to deal with. The titular Favourite Worst Nightmare. The significance of any of these in relation to the album remains to be seen, but they definitely made the right decision.

This is the one lyric that indicates the person in question is lost, in search of just the next sensation. That is what probably feeds into their erratic and unpredictable behaviour.
