The human metronome known as John Bonham helped lay the foundations for the meteoric rise of Classic Rock heavyweights Led Zeppelin.

Bonham's timing and precision are, to this day, unmatched in his craft. An exceptionally tight drummer who also had a huge impact creatively on the band- It was Bonham's decision to record the drums for When The Levee Breaks in the middle of a huge spiralling hallway, the result of which is one of the most iconic drum lines in all of Rock music.

You need look no further than Zeppelins Moby Dick to see the ability that Bonham possessed (The live version in particular is mind-blowingly impressive). His exceptional ear for timing and seemingly endless stamina behind the kit made him part of one of the great rhythm sections of Rock along side John Paul Jones, and an integral piece of the Rock juggernaut that was Led Zeppelin.

There can be no doubt that John Bonham is one of the greatest Classic Rock drummers of all time.
