10 Greatest David Bowie Songs

7. Let's Dance

Who doesn't like this song? Seriously. If this song plays you almost have to physically resist the urge to start dancing. Bowie teamed up with the legendary Nile Rogers for this one and it ended up being one of the most popular songs of his entire career. It is also the perfect example of both Bowie's chameleon like approach to genre and his longevity.

Let's Dance came out in 1983, 14 years after Space Oddity made him a household name. He was very well established in the music industry at this point. And yet here he was topping charts the world over in a completely different genre to what he was known for.

There's not much more to say about this song. It is one of the most joyous things he ever came out with, one of his most successful and of course, one of his very very best. It essentially brought about a whole new generation of Bowie fans.
