10 Greatest Garage Rock Music Albums Of The 2010s

1. Nonagon Infinity - King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

If you want to talk about artists releasing albums on an industrial scale, then you can't leave out the utter maniacs that are King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.

Since 2012, this Australian group have put out 23 studio albums. This includes five albums in the year 2017 and another five in 2022!

Do these guys not see their families?

Ultimately, what does familial love offer when you're this good at making music? Case in point, the band's 2016 album Nonagon Infinity.

This was actually the only album they put out that year. Shocking, right?

Nonagon Infinity is structured around a loop, meaning that every song flows into the next one and the last song flows back into the first. In theory, you could have this thing run forever.

It's far from a gimmick, as the record is jam-packed with the group's trademark psych-infused desert rock. It's an epic in every sense of the word, taking listeners on a journey through a swirling soundscape that is very hard to escape from.

Be careful if you ever sit down and put this album on - you might find yourself unable to get out of it.
