2. Farrokh Bulsara
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQsM6u0a038 Farrokh Bulsara is not a name most people have heard of but he received critical and public adoration in his lifetime. You may have heard some of his songs? Killer Queen, Who Wants To Live Forever, The Show Must Go On, We Will Rock You Bohemain Rhapsody? Alright, so you probably already knew Freddie Mercurys real name, but perhaps you didnt know that he was obsessed with Jimi Hendrix and spent much of his youth drawing images of the legendary guitarist? Or that he liked cats even more than the internet? Ok so there isnt much left to be said about the larger than life frontman of Queen, but thats no reason not to say it again. With one of the purest voices this world has yet heard, Freddie destroyed barriers for a living. Musical barriers, social barriers and yes, barriers of taste. His music flowed with the confidence of a true powerhouse, combining classical pomp and complexity, rocks own brand of pure adrenaline and showmanship as well as pops commercialistic sensibilities. A brave man in a challenging world, Freddie took on rock, pop and opera, rising to the top against all comers to become arguably the greatest frontman of them all.
