City of a Million Graves Stand Out Track:Nuke the Cross, listen to this and try not to bang your head...I've tried, its impossible! Toxic Holocaust is the brainchild of one man Thrash-machine, Joel Grind (fitting surname). This dude knows he was born in the wrong decade so is hell-bent on playing thrash metal the old-school way, noisy, bloody and full of bile. This is ugly thrash, I'm talking the love child of the Elephant-Man and Ronaldinho ugly; and its all the better for it! Successfully mixing Punk, Thrash and (dare I say it) Rock 'N' Roll, Overdose of Death has a necro-esque sound, corrosive and gritty and it works on every level. Ignoring the sheen of polished thrash bands such as Megadeth, Annihilator and Heathen, Toxic Holocaust have embraced the under-belly of thrash and emulated the mean-spirited, dirty sound of Morbid Saint, Rigor Mortis and Razor. A brave move, these bands did not sell many records, but financial gain is not of the essence here. Joel Grind plays this music simply because he has to and fans of old school Thrash are grateful for it.

I love Heavy Metal, and generally anything that involves a guitar and loud noises, so I figured it was about time I put all the useless information in my head to good use and start writing a few things. Most of the time I'll be writing nonsense but occasionally I may surprise myself and appear half-way knowledgable.....but you can be the judge of that. Thanks for your fleeting attention!
