The beauty of having a duo is getting a new partner to bounce your ideas off of. More than just the band dynamic, the yin and yang of these people can help push you to be a better entertainer as well as fill in the gaps where you slip up. As far as pop music is concerned though, you can't script a better symbiotic relationship than John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

Then again, the relationship almost didn't even happen, with Lennon being initially hesitant to take McCartney on because of how similar they were.
