The way that Plant asserted himself was incredibly forceful while never encroaching on Page's mad-scientist persona. Plant also penned lyrics to what would become Zeppelin's greatest works from "Kashmir" to "Stairway to Heaven."
When the band took to the stage, Plant made sure he put every inch of himself into his performance.
