10 Guilty Pleasure Albums Nobody Will Admit That They Love

8. Spice Girls €“ Spice

The Spice Girls pretty much defined the pop music scene during the 90s. When they dropped Spice in 1996, the landscape was changed considerably. It peaked at number one in more than seventeen countries around the world. It was certified ten times Platinum in the UK, and was the top-selling album of 1997, selling almost twenty million copies. Spicemania was inescapable. Songs like Wannabe, Say You'll Be There, 2 Become 1 and Mama / Who Do you Think You Are transformed anyone who heard them into amateur karaoke singers. It's an album so infectious listeners should probably go to the doctor's to get it checked out lest it become something more serious. Enjoying Spice isn't so much a choice as it is an inevitability, even if many people refuse to admit to their more base, primal urge.
