10 Hard Rock Bands Who Never Made A Bad Album

9. Alter Bridge

Many fans were hit extremely hard by the breakup of Creed in the early '00s. After years of dominating the rock scene with a neutered version of the grunge sound, the era of Scott Stapp had finally come to an end. However, one band calling it a day sometimes marks the start of an even better band on the horizon.

Reassembling the group, the Stapp-less members of the band ended up forming a new group with belter Myles Kennedy, where they proceeded to kick ass as Alter Bridge. From the moment they found their footing on One Day Remains, the band has kept up an amazing track record, with each album containing a goldmine of badass riffs. The amazing solos pouring out of these records was a massive relief considering the guitar god status of Mark Tremonti, who always felt stifled in Creed's poppy tendencies.

Rather than just throwing together a bunch of decent riffs into a single stream, Alter Bridge often paint each of their songs with an epic brush, which leads to some of the greatest album experiences of the modern age like Blackbird and AB III. Creed may have been a nice start, but Alter Bridge was where each of these musicians really came into their own.
