10 Hard Rock Bands Who Never Made A Bad Album

6. AC/DC

It's not exactly that hard to put together an AC/DC song. From the basic open chords of all of their riffs to the definitive screams from Bon Scott and Brian Johnson, the band has gotten plenty of flak for all of their songs sounding the same. On the other hand, why try to fix what's already perfect?

With just a few bare bones elements, everything in AC/DC's music is exactly where it needs to be, from the bombast of Angus Young's solos to the solid backbeat that makes you want to bang your head until the end of eternity. Ever since the release of High Voltage in the mid '70s, every one of the band's records is filled to the brim with great riffs, from the punkish attitude of Powerage to the golden years sheen of The Razor's Edge.

While being fairly simple at its core, it's nearly impossible to replicate the exact feel that the Young brothers bring to the table, with some of the most feral chord jabs in the rock world. There have been countless bands who have attempted something like "Highway to Hell" or "You Shook Me All Night Long," but when it comes to AC/DC, no one can match that original rock and roll swing.
