10 Hard Rock Music Videos That Got Banned

6. Be Chrool To Your Scuel - Twisted Sister

Twister Sister's fourth album Come Out and Play might not have been as successful as its predecessor Stay Hungry, but at least the boys got to make a music video with Alice Cooper.

Be Chrool to Your Scuel (which is the officially spelling of the song, not a massive typo) starts off with a manic performance from comedian Bobcat Goldthwait as an eccentric schoolteacher. Then, all of a sudden, he turns into Mr. Cooper and the school is now overrun with zombies!

AC and the Twisted Sister lads get into various scrapes before coming together to put a concert for the undead hordes. It's very silly and very '80s hair metal, so what was so bad about it?

Apparently, it was too gory for mainstream viewing. Although, if you ask Dee Snider, he'll tell you that it was banned due to his recent remarks against the Parents Music Resource Centre.

Either way, it was not allowed on TV.

Despite being labelled as a big no-no, this video is still a lot of fun and teeming with history. For example, one of the students is a young Luke Perry, years before he would make his name on 90210.
